English Setter of the Year 2005

It's amazing how young setter like Christa gain such a success during the year. In Finland she won in 2005 the Winner title, three Group placements, six Best of Breed wins (from which three from international shows) and four CACIB’s. Christa also got the last CC for Champion title in her very first possible show after her 2nd birthday. This was in Lahti international show, where she was rewarded as BOB and BIG-3 by Mr Rainer Vuorinen (Finland), who also received “Show Judge of the Year” prize himself in same show. Christa visited three international shows abroad too and she came home with two national Winner titles, Group placement, three Best Bitch wins, three CACIBs and three CC’s..

Our close friends call Christa as "White Wind". She got this nick name after the first show of the year 2005 when she was running in group ring of Turku International. Then audience could feel under the skin how the white wind took the ring to herself. Christa is an excellent show dog with always friendly and happy behaviour. In particular it is her correct attitude which gives to owner the power in this hobby.

This all would not have been possible without breeder’s help and support: thanks to Marita for the valuable co-operation! And of course we are proud that on first year when young Blue Baltic’s dogs even competed whole year in adult classes, became our Christa the most successful English Setter of the Year 2005 in Finland.

We want also to thank all of Christa’s handlers during the year: Ms Molli Nyman (Texforrier), Ms Senja Mäkinen (Foogel), Mr Antti Hokkanen and Mrs Anne Rekola. Huge thanks also to all Christa’s ”fans” who have had energy to be there for her from show to show.

Christa has of course many shows planned for year 2006, but maybe she will also spend some time in puppy box at Blue Baltic’s. We are thrilled to see Christa’s offspring and we hope her puppies will be as their mother: balanced and lovely dog in all aspects!
