So Christa went and took 2nd time in row the title of English Setter Of The Year in Finland. This was our target this year and Christa did it and she did it quite clearly and took 77 points more than the reserve-winner and she won with total points of 214. Christa's show year 2006 was just fantastic and it is not easy to pick one or two top unforgettable moments. During the year Christa gained national champion title in three different countries as well as winner titles European Winner 2006, Baltic Winner 2006 and Lithuanian Winner 2006. She was placed in groups total 11 times (from which 8 were in international shows) and she was 19 times Best Of Breed (from which 14 from international shows). She also gained 16 CACIB's from which 11 were from Finland (she entered 13 international shows). And she won this all even if she whelped the little princess Sira in September, so Christa was spending part of the year in a puppy box!

In 2006 Christa was successful in her own breed, but she was successful also when compared to other breeds. In FCI group 7 Christa was 3rd best from all breeds, 2nd best of all setters and Top #1 bitch in whole group! In all breed list by Finnish Kennel Club Christa was nicely on 23rd place and she was the only one representing the breed in Champion Of Champions gala in February 2007.

Marita you are an unreplaceable friend to us and we are proud to help keeping the Blue Baltic's flag high! Big thanks also for grooming and handling to Molli Nyman (Texforrier) as well as to other Christa's handlers during the year: Antti Hokkanen (Glamorly), Pauliina Artiola (Original) and Carita Heliö.
