English Setter of the Year
2005, 2006 and 2007

"Once in a lifetime dog", that is what Christa is to me. After her 3rd win in English Setter Of The Year competition there is not much to say anymore. But I think I will have lots of stories from this girl still when I am sitting in a rocking-chair. ;)

Our target for the year was to try winning this competition third time in row as well as to get some more winner titles for Christa. Both of these targets became true. Christa gained the winner title in 2007 from Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Lithuania and she again was chosen as English Setter Of The Year quite clearly with 40 points difference to 2nd one. So maybe we will finally this year go and get her names to plates in the cup for three years ;)

Christa gained this year again also the invitation to Champion Of Champions gala in February. Christa was again the most successful English Setter in Finnish Kennel Club's listing.

Christa has always been known to have charisma and jollity in the show ring. This joy she showed this year also together with a talented junior handler Noora Huttunen when she was competing in Junior Handler Finnish Championship final with Christa. We even choosed the photo to this page from this competition as from the photo you may see the style Christa moves in the ring.

And again it is time to thank Christa's breeder Marita Peuhkuri, without her we would not be here now. We also want to thank all the Christa's handlers in 2007: Sanna Vartiainen, Molli Nyman (Texforrier), Sanna Norhio and Senja Mäkinen (Foogel). Special thanks also to all those who have cheered on Christa during these years. This girl truly enjoy all the attention she get and she really get energy from the applauses and the rhytmic background music of the group final rings!
