My christening 14.3.2004

My christening was 14.3.2004 in Somero's old church hall. We invited there our closest relatives and friends. My mom made nice invitation cards, which were sent beginning of March (photo1, photo2).

The font was same with which my mother was christened. Mom got it as wedding present from her uncle, who had got it as legacy from my mother's grandparents. My dress was same which my father had in his christening. It is white long dress with much of sentimental value when it has been on my father, his brother and three children of my uncle. And was now on me too.

I was christened as Roni Miska Juhani Kavén, so my calling name before christening "Miska" is also part of my official name. :) The priest was from Somero Mrs. Liisi Kärkkäinen. My Godparents are Marco and Sari Kavén (my uncle and his wife) and Mia Humell and Christian Häger (our family's dear friends).

I want to thank all people who was with at christening or remembered me otherway. :)
