owner Veera Hovila, Somero"Frida" is already seen many times as winner in show rings and this year she won both "Spaniel of the Year" and "Show ESS of the Year" competitions. Frida has been eye-catcher right from the start of her show career. Her breed typical balanced movement, excellent breed type and happy springer temperaments are maybe her most powerful "secret weapons".
Frida was in 2005 already third time in row best english springer spaniel bitch of the year in Finland. In 2005 Frida was only spaniel in Finland who gained as high as BIS-2 placement in international show. Frida was in international shows 9 times BOB and 4 times BOS and she got total 13 CACIB's. Frida was also many times placed in groups. In Springer Spaniel Club annuality show Frida was Best In Show (breed judge was Sally Leslie UK and BIS was chosen by Christine Mac Donald UK). In "Show Dog of the Year" all breeds she was nicely placed as 25th.
Merit list of this bitch is amazing and something that all dogs never achieve (and for bitches it is maybe even harder). Frida has still many years ahead, so time shows what future still brings with! :)
